How are restaurant menu changes handled?

Your approved menu is organized into a managed catalog of items, descriptions, prices, sizes, options, toppings, and other ordering rules.

Controlled update process #

  • Submit the exact items or rules that changed.
  • Review the proposed catalog updates and any related pricing or ordering effects.
  • Test representative orders and confirm the approved result.
  • Publish the approved update before the new information is used in customer calls.

No automatic synchronization promise #

A managed catalog does not by itself mean the menu synchronizes with your POS or website. Any direct integration must be separately approved and tested.

Maintenance scope #

We establish the update and approval process during onboarding. Routine updates follow your proposal’s maintenance terms; Complete includes up to two routine configuration changes per month within the existing architecture. Large menu restructuring or new ordering logic is separately scoped.

Send clear changes #

Include the effective date, item name, previous and new values, and any availability changes. Avoid relying on a caller’s description to change the catalog.
